Monster Route is the first in North America to acquire the HDTE technology to image directly INTO substrates (i.e. metal, film, fabric, MDF etc.) This clean process uses heat to transfer dye into various substrates. Dyes are encapsulated into various materials, not surface printed. This process produces a beautiful, high definition image which is more durable and has a wider color gamut than photographic or traditional digital printing. HDTE images are weather, chemical and graffiti resistant. Encapsulated images can be used indoor, outdoor and underwater with out chipping or flaking of the dyes. Metals can be punched, drawn and rolled AFTER imaging with out compromising image quality. HDTE images can be produced in three types of metal - Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum and in both matte and gloss finishes. HDTE films come in 14 different materials and finishes for window graphics, clear window films, backlit films, night vision films, posters, banners etc. All HDTE films come with a standard adhesive back (except for backlit film) and because they are encapsulated, the require no laminate for protection. HDTE films are imaged into a Fluoride based film, that replicates the look of traditional PVC based products.

Monster Route also houses a variety of high resolution traditional digital printing technologies. Our state of the art direct to substrate printing is achieved with the HP Scitex FB6100. This versatile printer can print directly onto rigid substrates up to 2" thick. The UV inks are cured instantly to materials like vinyl, paper, backlit material, wood, plastic and metals.
